Making A Purchase Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.

We accept credit card payment. If you are shopping from North America or anywhere else, place your order and your credit card company will convert the transaction to US Dollars or your own currency.

We accept Visa, Mastercard, Switch, Delta, Maestro and American Express. We do not charge for any item until it is ready to ship. Backordered items are not charged until they are shipped. You may send your credit card information via phone, fax, snail mail or over the Internet.

When confirmation of order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.

Shipping And Handling UK Despatch for giftware purchases

Items are sent by Royal Mail Recorded Delivery for pieces sent within the United Kingdom. Postage within the UK is £2.50 upto an order value of £5.00, then £3.50 for upto £25.00 ordered at the same time. All UK orders over £25 will be sent post free. If you order over 10 items, the postage is free

European Despatch

International orders (within the EU) are sent by Royal Mail or by our courier DHL. They take between 5 and 8 working days to be delivered. The delivery method used is based on the size, weight and value of the order. If your order is sent by Royal Mail then the delivery charge starts at £5.00.

US/North America Despatch

To ensure that you receive your goods as fast as possible and in perfect condition, we ship to North America using courier services, either British Royal Mail and the US Postal Service, or Parcel Force International and its partners. The delivery rate is calculated when you reach the checkout, and is based on the value of the goods in your shopping basket in order to offer you the best possible tariff.

Delivery Schedule We aim to get your items to you within 14 days, however most stock items are delivered much quicker usually within a few days. If the item is out of stock we will let you know before charging you and despatching.

Any items not in stock should generally take no more than 28 days, however we will keep you informed of the progress of your order.

International orders are generally received in under 28 days.

Back Orders If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.

Balloon Terms & Conditions
1. Substitution

i. In very exceptional circumstances the product may vary slightly from that shown. Where we make substitutions it will be with a product of equal or greater value

2. Delivery

i. Delivery is available 5 days per week Monday to Friday between the hours of 09.00 and 17.00.
ii. Next day delivery is available provided the order is accepted and confirmed by e-mail before 2.00 pm Monday to Thursday.
iii. Timed delivery is not available.
iv. Delivery will be by Royal Mail.
v. All deliveries must be signed for by the recipient.
vi. The customer is responsible for providing a correct and accurate address and Garfield Snow accepts no liability for non delivery if the details are incorrect.
vii. Failed deliveries: if the courier is unable to make a delivery a card will be posted advising the action needed i.e. please call to arrange a delivery time OR please collect from shop.
viii. Non-delivery: in the unlikely event that delivery is not attempted on the requested date a full refund will be given unless such failure is caused by act of terrorism or war, extreme adverse weather conditions, or restricted access to the address caused by accident or other disaster.
ix. No change can be made to the delivery address once the order has been despatched
x. Unless next day delivery is chosen as your delivery option, we cannot be responsible if your item does not arrive on a specified day

3. Cancellation

i. Orders may be cancelled up to 48 hours before the intended delivery date, subject to a 10% administration charge.
ii. No refund will be given for orders cancelled within 48 hours of the intended delivery date. We will make every effort to stop such a delivery taking place, but offer no guarantee.
iii. If you wish to cancel an order call us on 01827 62933 between the hours of 09.30 - 17.00 Monday to Friday. Alternatively, you can email us at garfield_snow@yahoo.co.uk.

4. Quality Guarantee

i. All our products are guaranteed to be of the highest quality. Our latex balloons have been treated with Super Hi Float flight extender and will therefore float for several days, as will the foil balloons. After 4 - 5 days they will slowly start to deflate and this is quite normal.
ii. Our company is a member of the Qualatex Balloon Network and staff have successfully undertaken a Qualatex fundamentals course and successfully passed their Qualatex exams in Balloon Basics, Décor and Deliveries, and Bouquets.

5. Returns and complaints

i. Balloons are a perishable and personalised product and therefore cannot be returned under the UK Distance Selling Regulations (2000).
ii. If a product that is delivered is either faulty or incorrect please call us on 01827 62933 between the hours of 09.30 - 17.00 Monday to Saturday. Alternatively, you can email us at Garfield_snow@yahoo.co.uk. We will investigate any complaint within 2 working days and, wherever possible, try to resolve any issues within 5 working days

6. General

i. We reserve the right to amend or supplement these terms and conditions from time to time. It is the responsibility of the customer to review our terms and conditions on our website.
ii. These terms and conditions shall be deemed to include all other notices, policies and disclaimers and other terms contained within the Garfield Snow website, provided that in the event of a conflict between any such other notices, policies, disclaimers and other terms, these Terms and Conditions shall prevail. If any of these terms and conditions are held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect provided that are capable of continuing in existence without the unfair term.
iii. These Terms and Conditions shall be governed and construed in accordance with English Law and the parties agree to submit to the jurisdiction of the English courts

7. Disclaimer

i. Whilst we agree to use our reasonable endeavours to ensure that the our website and service is fully operational and error-free we cannot guarantee this and, therefore, accept no responsibility for any defects and/or interruption of the Garfield Snow website and/or the Garfield Snow balloon service and shall be released from our obligations under these Terms and Conditions in the event of any cause beyond our reasonable control which renders the provision of the Garfield Snow website and/or the Garfield Snow Balloon service impossible or impractical.
a. We accept liability for death or personal injury arising from our negligence and for all liability arising from any fraudulent representation we may make.
b. Subject to clause 7.1(a), our liability in contract, tort (including negligence and breach of statutory duty) or otherwise arising by reason of or in connection with your Order Form with us shall be limited to a multiple of NETQUOTEVAR:5 times the price you have paid for the sky hi Products.
c. Subject to clauses 7.1(a) and 7.1(b) above we exclude all liability for any claims, losses, demands and damages, including without limitation, any costs, loss of profits, loss of contracts or business opportunity, loss of data and any other consequential, incidental, special or punitive damages, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages, arising directly or indirectly out of or in any way connected with your use or inability to access the site and/or our service, whether arising in contract, tort (including negligence), under statute or otherwise provided that nothing contained in these Terms and Conditions affects or will affect your or the recipient's statutory rights in relation to the quality, fitness or description of the products supplied.
d. We shall not be liable for any delay or inability to perform our obligations to you if such delay is due to any cause whatsoever beyond our reasonable control.

Privacy Policy If you have bought something from us we will have your email address, phone number, address and credit card details. If you choose to deliver items to a third-party (such as a friend) we will have their name and address. Information is only used to help us deliver the parcels and contact you.

We also maintain an order history of your purchases. This allows you and us to track your deliveries and review your past purchases. We may offer you a reward for purchases or make an offer we think you might like based on your order history.

We also collect information of a general nature about how many 'hits' our website gets.
